Michael Sommers, Principal and Founder

After studying Business Management with a minor in Marketing at University of Central Missouri, Mr. Sommers began his career in Technology Services. During this time Michael has excelled at generating value to local and regional clients through thoughtful innovation and leadership.
Michael was instrumental in the founding, business development, and growth of several highly successful companies prior to BalancePoint. These previous business experiences provided Michael with extensive and varied industry knowledge, which is currently being applied to the benefit and success of BalancePoint. Mr. Sommers is responsible for Business Development/Service Delivery, and Marketing. He is ultimately accountable for vision, strategy, and execution in the marketplace.
Mr. Sommers is also active in the philanthropic community, and serves on multiple Boards of Advisors/Directors.
Scott Lippert, Principal and Founder

Mr. Lippert is a graduate of University of Missouri – Columbia and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, Minor in Management and Sociology. He has led the recruiting efforts and placed Resources on both a contract and direct-placement basis in Kansas City and San Francisco for major firms such as Sprint, Sprint PCS, Mahi Networks, Calix Networks, and Westwave Communications.
Mr. Lippert is well versed in various professional disciplines including: Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, Scientific, Clinical Systems, Accounting & Finance, and Sales & Marketing.
Currently, he oversees the executive management function for StaffPoint .
