Entertainment Company
BalancePoint began doing work with a large entertainment company in 2006.
As we continued to prove ourselves, our client determined that it made sense to utilize our expertise when larger initiatives arose. When our client wanted to build and implement a new custom application, BalancePoint was chosen as a strategic partner to identify workforce needs and provide the project leadership team which included the Architect, Project Manager and Business Analyst to drive the initiative. The BalancePoint team played a vital role in creating the project plan, managing the workflow, working with the business to develop workforce plans and define project requirements. Once the plan was in place, BalancePoint was again called upon to deliver an experienced team of developers to build the application and successfully deliver the project.
The success of this initial project earned BalancePoint the opportunity to partner on an on-going basis and play a key role in delivering resources and solutions.
As an example, when our client wanted to implement an entirely new Data Warehouse platform, the call went out to BalancePoint to start building the team. BalancePoint was responsible for providing the entire staff of Data Architects, Data Analysts and Data Base Administrators for this initiative. The end result was the successful implementation of a new Data Warehouse solution for the client. At this same time, there were several other initiatives going on including the implementation of a new Point of Service (POS) system. BalancePoint once again provided the Project Management and Business Analysis team for this project.
